Working Description: In training for urban SAR, he has a nice play drive although not obsessive. Great in obedience - very biddable and eager to please, passed his preliminary obedience test at 13 months old. Not tested on sheep but he herds the smaller dogs by barking and body blocking them or pushing/mouthing on ankles, he very occasionally stalks and uses a strong eye pattern in play but more often is upright and noisy. He is clever and learns new behaviours quickly, he particularly likes new exercises that present a challenge for him to learn. He has a good nose and is working towards a tracking qualification but his preference is to trailing. Scent discrimination exercises came easily to him.
